JoAnn Heckel
Jo Ann Heckel is the Director of Quality at Precision Science and has been part of the team since 1998. Her responsibilities include implementation of a number of quality systems that consist of deviation investigations, compliance auditing, and system validations.
Jo Ann graduated from the South Dakota State University with a degree that consists of a major in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. She moved to AZ in 1974 and spent the next 24 years working in the quality assurance field. She was responsible for the FDA compliance aspect in the manufacturing of both human pharmaceuticals and products for companies such as Armor Dial, Revlon, and GD Searle/ Procter & Gamble.
With her background and experience, she has brought the same degree of quality for the manufacturing of animal health products that is required for human products, which has taken quality to the next level.
